1. Research
Gathering information about gardening as well as looking into different styles of journals in order to merge the two ideas together into one seamless book.

All of the illustrations were painted by hand using vibrant acrylic paint.

4. Printing and Assembly
A critical component of the guide was the tactical and interactive features. The paper was printed on an ivory recycled paper. The cover was die-cut. And the spine is a coil so that it is an easier notebook to carry outside while taking notes.
